Marife Cabaya, the youngest of nine children, was born in Alimodian, Iloilo City to Vergenia Calubo and Faustino Cabaya.  At a tender age of seven, Marife's mother passed away and she was raised solely by her father.  And from her father, she learned to be helpful and generous.  Marife's father was a farmer and no matter the quality or quantity of his harvest, he always helped others and shared what he could.   Her father taught Inday, as she was fondly called,  to work hard and always share what she had.

       Marife is a Certified Nurse Assistant and works for private patients.  She has two daughters, Amanda and Michelle; and, two very young grandsons, Chance and Kameron, who she takes care of.   And her generosity knows no physical boundaries, as she takes care of her sister back in the Philippines by sending her medicines monthly.

      The caring heart of Marife, nurtured through the years by her father, was

fertile soil for becoming a Charity Lead Fundraiser.  When she was approached by PCCI, Marife saw it as an opportunity to expand her help to include The Lullaby House as her personal beneficiary.
